Despre mine

My name is Maria Baumgarten and I am a graduate of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca and a master's degree in specialization in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy within the same faculties. My first profession was Social Assistance, which I graduated in 2002 from the Faculty of Social Assistance and Sociology of the UBB and I practiced it until 2007 when I started working as a psychologist. My psychological studies are recognized in Germany , as well as being a member of the professional formation "Berufsverbant Deutscher Psychologinnen und Psychologen" in Berlin, the official institution that it attests to the recognition of psychological studies and the right to practice in Germany.

    

I am also a psychologist accredited by the "College of Psychologists in Romania" in the specialties clinical psychology, psychotherapy and the psychology of work and organization since 2009. I have extensive experience in the field psycho-social at national and international level. I worked as a social worker, social program manager, founder and director within some non-governmental organizations, coordinator of POSDRU projects (EU funded projects for human resources development), school psychologist in the psycho-pedagogical cabinets, coordinator of international projects organized by the EU Youth in Actinon programs, collaborating professor at UBB (Babes-Bolyai University), psychologist and psychotherapist within the personal psychology cabinet. Overall, I have 17 years of experience in the field of psycho-social programs and services, of which 13 years in psychological activities and services.

The experience I have accumulated over the years is an experience that has allowed me to develop both personally and professionally, to understand and relate correctly to the people around me, to be as serious, correct and flexible as possible. the work that I do, to accept the cultural diversity of each one, to analyze people and things through what they are in fact and not through labels and reporting to one category or another - religious, cultural, social-economic, gender, etc.

I currently offer online psychological sessions, with video conferencing, through the WhatsApp application, in Romanian or English, for both Romanians and English speakers. My clients are mainly immigrants who come to Germany, because living in Bavaria, Germany can help them better from the same cultural context, but I offer my online psychological services to people living in other countries.
